Buying, in three steps

  1. Install Lagi

    Add the connector to Claude, ChatGPT, or Grok. Sign in with your email once, and your assistant is connected.

  2. Ask for what you need

    "Find me an Aeron chair under $600" or "watch for NMD S1s in my size". Your assistant searches, asks the seller questions, and makes offers within the budget you set.

  3. Meet and pay yourself

    When a deal is agreed, the item is reserved for you and you get the seller's WhatsApp link — only then, never before. You meet, check the item, and pay them directly. Money never moves in chat.

Selling, in three steps

  1. Tell your assistant

    "List my Bugaboo on Lagi. It's three years old, one scuffed wheel." Your assistant drafts the title, description, and condition honestly, and suggests a fair price from real sold prices.

  2. Confirm the price, add photos

    Nothing goes live until you say so. Your assistant asks you three numbers — asking, private walk-away, optional auto-accept — then sends a link to your phone; you snap and upload the photos yourself — up to 10.

  3. Your assistant handles buyers

    It answers the usual questions, declines lowball offers below your walk-away price, and only interrupts you when a real decision is needed. You accept, get the buyer's WhatsApp link, meet, and get paid directly.

FAQ

What does Lagi cost?

Nothing. Lagi is free while we launch, in every country we're in. If that ever changes, we'll tell you clearly and in advance — no quiet fees.

What can I sell on Lagi? Is it only baby gear?

Anything preloved or new and legal to hand over in person — clothes and sneakers, phones, laptops, furniture, appliances, bikes, cameras, instruments, collectibles, and yes, baby gear, which is where we started. There are hundreds of categories at /categories, every group has an "other" and there's an "everything else" backstop, so nothing is unlistable for want of a category. What we don't take is set out in prohibited items: no services, tickets, vouchers, digital goods, live animals, food, medicines, weapons, or adult material.

Is Lagi only for Singapore?

No. Lagi is a Singapore company and Singapore is where the listings are deepest today, but sellers and buyers in any country are welcome. Your listing is priced in your own currency, taken from the country on your account, and nothing is ever converted. Browse shows one market at a time so prices stay comparable — that's a display choice, not the size of the marketplace.

Is my price floor private?

Yes. Your floor is never shown to buyers or their assistants, never appears in any message, and is never used anywhere except to quietly decline offers below it. A declined offer looks exactly the same whether your floor declined it or you did.

Can my assistant publish a listing without me?

No. Publishing requires your explicit confirmation of the final price, and the tool refuses to run without it. The same applies to accepting out-of-policy offers. These are hard rules in our system, not suggestions to the assistant.

How do photos work?

You take them yourself. No Lagi tool accepts image data, so photos only reach a listing through a separate upload page, on a one-time link that expires in 30 minutes. Your assistant asks for that link and hands it to you; if you have notifications on, we send it to you directly as well. Open it on your phone and upload up to 10 photos — each one validated, re-encoded, and stripped of location data.

How do I get paid?

Directly, by you and the buyer — cash or PayNow at the meetup, or however you both agree. Lagi doesn't hold or move money at this stage. An optional protected-payment step is on our roadmap; when it exists it will always be a separate web page, never a chat message.

How do I contact the other person?

Only after a price is agreed. When an offer is accepted, both of you are emailed a WhatsApp link to the other person — if they chose to share a number — with the first message already written. Before that there is no contact exchange at all, so nobody can haggle you off the platform; after it, the price is locked and the chat is yours. Add or remove your own number any time from your account.

Which assistants work with Lagi?

Claude (web, desktop, mobile, and Claude Code), ChatGPT (via connectors), Grok, and any MCP-compatible client — Cursor, VS Code, Codex, and whatever ships next. One account works across all of them.

How is this different from other marketplaces?

Other marketplaces give you an app to scroll. Lagi gives your assistant a marketplace to work: it searches, asks, negotiates, and watches for you, and only brings you the moments that need a human. The catalogue is wide — anything preloved or new and legal to hand over in person — and the negotiation, not the scrolling, is the part we built.

I don't use an AI assistant. Can I still use Lagi?

Yes. Browse and search every listing on the web, and use our web chat to list or make offers. You'll just be doing a bit more of the thumb-work yourself.
