What you can sell on Lagi

Lagi takes preloved goods of every kind, from sellers in every country. Baby gear was the first category we opened, and it is still the deepest shelf — but it has never been the limit, and neither has Singapore.

There are 231 categories in 26 groups below, consolidated from the taxonomies of the marketplaces people already sell on. Every group ends in an other_… category and everything_else catches whatever is left, so no seller is ever turned away because we failed to think of their item. If you end up in everything_else, tell us at [email protected] — that is how a real category gets added.

For your assistant

The slug in code is the value the MCP tools expect — create_listing_draft, update_listing, search_listings, create_watch and suggest_price all take the same enum. Pick the most specific one that fits; if nothing does, use everything_else rather than refusing to list the item. Machine-readable copy of this page: /categories.md. Full agent reference: /agents.

What is not here, and why

A category missing from this list is a policy decision, not an oversight. Prohibited items is the authority, and it rules out services, event tickets, vouchers, digital goods and game accounts, live animals, food and drink, tobacco and vapes, medicines and supplements, used medical devices, weapons, and adult material. Lagi is for physical things two people can hand over in person — so property, jobs and services have no category here either.

Two categories carry extra requirements at publish: a car seat needs its manufacture or expiry date and an accident-history declaration, and a cot needs a drop-side declaration (drop-side cots may not be sold at all).

The categories

Babies & Kids

Where Lagi started, and still the deepest shelf. Car seats and cots carry extra safety disclosures at publish — expiry or manufacture date and accident history for a seat, a drop-side declaration for a cot.

Women's Fashion

Everyday womenswear, footwear and accessories. Designer pieces belong in Luxury & Designer.

Men's Fashion

Everyday menswear, footwear and accessories. Designer pieces belong in Luxury & Designer.

Luxury & Designer

Authenticated-resale territory. List here only if you can vouch for the item: passing off a replica as genuine is a prohibited listing, not a bad description.

Jewellery, Watches & Eyewear

Non-designer jewellery, watches, straps and eyewear.

Bags & Luggage

Backpacks, suitcases, work bags and travel gear.

Beauty & Personal Care

Cosmetics, fragrance and grooming tools. Sealed or clearly-described only. No medicines, supplements, contact lenses or used medical devices — those are prohibited outright.

Mobile Phones & Gadgets

Phones, tablets, wearables and the things that charge them. SIM cards are prohibited.

Computers & Tech

Machines, parts and peripherals. Software licences and keys are prohibited — hardware only.

Audio, TV & Media Players

Listening and watching hardware, from earphones to projectors.

Cameras & Photography

Bodies, glass, and everything that holds or lights them.

Video Games & Consoles

Physical hardware, discs and cartridges. Game accounts, download codes and digital keys are prohibited — if it cannot be handed over at a meetup, it cannot be listed.

Home Appliances

Large and small appliances. Check for recalls and damaged batteries before listing.

Furniture

Indoor and outdoor furniture. Say up front whether the buyer has to dismantle or carry it.

Home & Living

Everything in a home that is not furniture or an appliance.

DIY, Tools & Garden

Tools, materials and garden equipment. Fuel, compressed gas, pesticides and other hazardous materials are prohibited.

Sports & Outdoors

Equipment and kit. Helmets and other impact protection that has taken a hit may not be listed at all.

Bicycles & Personal Mobility

Bicycles, e-bikes, scooters and PMDs. Devices with damaged or recalled lithium batteries are prohibited; local registration and road rules are the parties' own responsibility.

Vehicles & Parts

Vehicles and the parts that go on them. Lagi lists and negotiates only — registration, transfer of ownership and payment happen between the two parties, off the platform.

Musical Instruments

Instruments and the gear that records them.

Hobbies, Toys & Collectibles

Toys, games, models and the collector market.

Art, Craft & Design

Original work, prints, and the materials to make them.

Books, Stationery & Media

Physical copies only. Files, e-books and download codes are prohibited — the thing has to be handed over.

Pet Supplies

Supplies only. Live animals of any kind are prohibited, as are parts of protected species.

Business, Office & Industrial

Fit-outs, equipment and workshop gear — the things a closing business sells. Used medical devices are prohibited.

Everything Else

The backstop. If an item genuinely fits nothing above, it goes here rather than not being listed — a seller is never blocked because the taxonomy fell short. Tell us what you had to put here and it becomes a real category.
